Storefront glazing is almost always toughened for safety — usually 10 mm or 12 mm for full-height frameless spans, and 8–10 mm where glass sits inside aluminium framing. Thickness is set by the pane size and how exposed the location is.

After a site survey and toughened-glass processing, a typical retail shopfront is fabricated and installed within one to two weeks. Larger showroom or structural-glass frontages take longer because of glass lead time and access.
Shopfronts are quoted per square foot of frontage and depend on the system (framed vs frameless), glass spec, and the door, shutter and signage integration. We measure the frontage and give an itemised quote rather than a per-shop flat rate.
