POP, gypsum, PVC and wooden false ceilings across Delhi NCR — with cove and profile lighting designed in, hiding services and giving the room a finished, layered look.
Six ways to finish a ceiling.
POP
Site-mixed plaster of Paris — best for curves, cornices and custom mouldings.
Gypsum board
Factory boards on a metal grid — fast, flat and crack-resistant.
PVC
Water-resistant panels for balconies, bathrooms and utility areas.
Grid / mineral fibre
Lay-in acoustic tiles for offices — easy access to services above.
Wooden
Veneer or laminate rafters and slats for warm, feature ceilings.
Cove & coffered
Layered and recessed designs that carry hidden cove lighting.
The honest trade-off.
- ◆ Fast to install, less mess
- ◆ Very flat, crack-resistant
- ◆ Best for straight, modern designs
- ◆ Harder for tight curves
- ◇ Shapes into any curve or moulding
- ◇ Seamless, monolithic finish
- ◇ Messier, slower, site-mixed
- ◇ Can hairline-crack over time
Many homes we do use gypsum for the main ceiling and POP for feature curves — the best of both.
The ceiling is a lighting plan.
A false ceiling isn’t only a surface — it’s where the lighting lives. We plan cove lighting for a soft wash, recessed spots for task areas, profile lights for lines, and pendants over key spots, all wired and dimmable before the board goes up.
Getting the layout right at design stage is what separates a flat, over-lit ceiling from one with depth and mood.
Priced by the square foot.
Indicative — plain gypsum/POP to multi-level with cove lighting; fixtures extra
A ceiling’s cost is material plus how much design and light goes in. Here’s what moves it:

False ceiling FAQs.
Gypsum board goes up faster with a very flat, crack-resistant finish, ideal for straight designs. POP is site-mixed and better for curves and custom mouldings but is messier and slower. Many homes use gypsum for the main ceiling and POP for feature curves.
A plain peripheral or cove design drops only a few inches at the edges and keeps the centre high. A full ceiling typically drops 4–6 inches to hide services and lighting. We design to keep usable height where ceilings are already low.
