Frameless glass gives the most light and the cleanest look, ideal for cabins and meeting rooms. Aluminium-framed partitions cost less over long runs and make solid or half-glazed infills easy — see our aluminium partitions page.
Single toughened glass reduces noise; for real acoustic separation we use double-glazed partitions with an air gap and sealed head, base and junction details. Meeting rooms and MD cabins are the usual candidates.
Fluted (reeded) glass has vertical ribs that blur what’s behind while keeping light and a textured look. Frosted — acid-etched or film — gives a flat, even privacy. Both can run full-height or as a banded zone.
